There are two ways to use GSA 8(a) STARS contract: Direct or through GSA FAS assisted acquisition services.

DIRECT ORDER DELEGATION OF ORDERING AUTHORITY

NOTE: To order services from Native Tele-Data Solutions, Inc. using 8(a) STARS, contracting officers must obtain GSA Government wide Acquisition Center (GWAC) Delegation of Authority.

The delegation process for utilizing the 8(a) STARS GWAC is as follows:

1. GSA provides Contracting Specialists and Project Managers training on the proper use of the contract.
2. GSA will ask you to send them a copy of your Contracting Officer’s Warrant
3. GSA will issue you a MOU/ Delegation of ordering authority
4. GSA will ask you to sign the MOU and return a copy to them.
5. You can then issue Native Tele-Data Solutions your order
6. You then send GSA a copy of each order issued to Native Tele-Data Solutions
